Growing up so fast!

This week Jake turned 16 months old and is saying more words each day. Today I walked into his room to get him up and he looked up and called me "Alissa"! I told him that he was correct but that I prefer "Mommy"!

At a friend's house yesterday he was trying to say it but this morning it came out perfectly! He understands almost all of what you are saying. He runs to the bathroom when you talk about taking a bath and goes to his highchair when it's time for dinner. He likes to "woo woo" with the dogs in the neighborhood. He's a sweet little guy that loves performing his new tricks!

I got to draw outside with chalk! Mommy says that I am getting to be a big boy because I didn't try to eat the chalk!

Ohh...mommy let me have a treat on Saturday and lick the beaters full of frosting! I didn't really get the whole "licking" concept but i learned real fast that if I opened my mouth a little that mommy would help me. It was yummy!

I'm just giving Uncle Spencer's jeep the once over. I can't wait to go for a ride in it!

I love it when Declan comes to play! I try my best to keep up with him and love learning new tricks from him! We always laugh and have a good time!

Today....I wanted to be a dog.

Please do not call child services on me. He crawled in here on his own and I couldn't resist getting a picture! Daisy wasn't too keen about him being in her cage...but she should be used to him taking over by now! He also "barks" now when he hears dogs barking. He goes "woo woo" and giggles! So cute! The last couple of weeks every dog that we see he calls "dizzy" but last week he was learning that different dogs have different names. He started calling Chloe, "Ooee" and then "Ooee" has also become the name for my parents dog Otis. It's fun to watch him learn new things everyday!

I love my new tent that Mmie got me! I love running in there and climbing out the side! I really love when someone gets in there and plays with me. Mommy even got a little cuddle time! The doggies really liked it too. I kept having to shoo them away!
