9 Months pregnant!

Well we have made it to the final stretch! Today I hit the 36 week mark and I'm officially in the 9th month of pregnancy! I'm still feeling pretty good...just the normal late term complaints...tiredness, hip pain, and some new arm numbness but nothing too terrible. I'm excited for her to make her arrival in a few weeks!

Biggest bubble bath ever!

A couple weeks ago Jake asked me if he could take a bath in our big garden tub so we surprised him one night and loaded him up with bubbles! He was in heaven! He played in there for over a half an hour and still didn't want to get out!

To infinity...and beyond!

We've been having some nice spring days lately so we head over to the park so that Jake can run around (and wear himself out) and I can try to waddle after him.

He's a real people watcher (just like Mike and I)...he's very observant of other kids and likes to see what others are doing and then jump in and join them.

His creative/imaginative side has really been coming out lately. He'll make up things to play and dress up. It's very cool to see him growing up and seeing his personality coming through more and more.

Jake is so full of love lately. He is very much into snuggling (even if only at bedtime) with mommy and I'm trying to enjoy every second as I know it will become harder when baby sister arrives. He has enjoyed getting all the baby gear out of storage and telling us what he thinks baby sister will like and how cute everything is. I think he's going to be a terrific big brother.
