Biggest bubble bath ever!

A couple weeks ago Jake asked me if he could take a bath in our big garden tub so we surprised him one night and loaded him up with bubbles! He was in heaven! He played in there for over a half an hour and still didn't want to get out!

Just another day at the park...

To infinity...and beyond!

We've been having some nice spring days lately so we head over to the park so that Jake can run around (and wear himself out) and I can try to waddle after him.

He's a real people watcher (just like Mike and I)...he's very observant of other kids and likes to see what others are doing and then jump in and join them.

His creative/imaginative side has really been coming out lately. He'll make up things to play and dress up. It's very cool to see him growing up and seeing his personality coming through more and more.

We are feeling more prepared as we get things finished. We're excited to meet this sweet angel that will soon fill this room!

Jake is so full of love lately. He is very much into snuggling (even if only at bedtime) with mommy and I'm trying to enjoy every second as I know it will become harder when baby sister arrives. He has enjoyed getting all the baby gear out of storage and telling us what he thinks baby sister will like and how cute everything is. I think he's going to be a terrific big brother.

We're at 5 1/2 months pregnant with Ruby Sue (nickname given by grandparents) due to arrive in May.

Jake is so full of life and enjoys everything around him! He loves doing "jobs" with Daddy or helping mommy cook in the kitchen. He's excited to be a big brother come May to a sweet little girl.
