Haircuts and piggy toes!

So handsome but was getting a little shaggy!

Got a new haircut the next day...not sure what he was doing here (he took his shirt off and was running around in circles!)

Told him I wanted to take pictures of his new haircut and he wanted me to get the back!

New haircut and warm enough outside to have some bare piggy toes and a picnic lunch! He was set!

This is our latest head injury...Jake ran into a desk corner but it really looks like he's been in a fight!

We're so ready for spring in the Irwin house! The mounds of snow are thankfully receeding but not very quickly! We've been stuck inside for way too long and the results have been quite humorous. Jake loves to take off his clothes now...pretty much a daily routine while he's playing. His vocabulary is soaring as well as his understanding. When he got done taking a bath the other day, he looks towards Mike and said, "Thank you Daddy!". Sweet! He is able to put together little sentences now and communicates very well. His imagination is running wild...he LOVES to build legos with Dad and just today he turned his bread crusts from lunch into alligators with no legs! haha!

Sleeping is getting better. About 6 weeks ago Jake decided that he could not possibly fall asleep without me right there and has grown more attached that usual. We're hanging in there with the sleeping...the big boy bed and room switch has helped I think. We just take it one day at a time and this week he has slept several nights all the way through in his own bed which is quite an improvement!

Jake loves to have his picture taken and the horrible mother that I am just hasn't gotten the camera out enough lately. He got so excited when I wanted to take pictures of his latest boo-boo when he came into contact with the edge of a desk!

Hope to get motivated with "spring" coming to get outside especially with the camera!

Window clings are a big hit!

Jake has been loving his new window stickers! We found some at the dollar store last week to encourage number and color recognition. He just really likes to take them all down and then put them all back up.

Big boy room!

During our big snow storm last weekend, Jake got a new room! We moved him into the guest room with a little more space and closer to us. He's been loving being able to play in there more and I think it was a good move for him! Such a big boy!

But he looks "buried" mom! I know honey, it's the best that mommy can do with 45 mph winds and huge snow drifts!

But his hat is all messed up...Geez! Do I have to do everything around here!

But even after all the "improvements"....Jake really did love this snowman! He kept wanting to sit up beside him! (This is him blowing me a kiss!)

It's a good thing that this sweet boy likes the snow! We've been pretty much buried by it lately. We are ready for spring but more snow is expected on Sunday.

Well we have had more snow in VA this winter than in a decade! This is Mike and Jake shoveling from our measley 6 incher on Tuesday....today it's snowing again and by tomorrow evening we are supposed to end up with 20-30 inches!!!! That is a lot of snow!
Hope Frosty is ready to come out and play!
